IAM Solution Engineer

Since 2017, we have made a name for ourselves building exciting, innovative and professional digital products, apps and services.  As part of our "serverless first" approach, we often build with Cloud Identity platforms such as Auth0 and Okta.  We have since emerged as one of the leading IAM teams in DACH region and our team includes individuals who hold "Auth0 Ambassador" and "Okta Technical Champion" status.

IAM and Cybersecurity is a very hot topic just now for the biggest and most interesting tech companies in Europe.  Our unique blend of engineering skills and independent IAM expertise means that we are working with industry leading teams and processes on a daily basis.

The team are keen to find someone who can help us build on the momentum! You will benefit from full engagement across the full project life cycle including discovery, definition, strategy, solution design as well as implementation itself.   The role can be described across two workstreams;

1 - Solution Architecture 

You will have responsibility for scoping, planning and delivering software solutions with a focus on cloud technologies and Identity & Access Management.  Your solutions will include integrations between cloud platforms, custom applications, APIs and multiple data sources. 

This will often be a collaboration with the customer, working with CTO/CISO/CPO level contacts and their engineering teams.     We love working with Miro and bring our UX and Product principles and techniques into all of our discovery and design workshops.

2 - Engineering and Integrations

You will also have hands-on development and system integration skills, in order to implement and rollout the recommended solutions.     

The amount and type of experience we are looking for is quite flexible; ideally you should have some solid mid to senior development expertise and are keen to balance this with a customer facing role. Our search is also focused on finding the right fit; high levels of motivation, communication skills and a general appetite for working on exciting projects delivered to highest standards.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years developer experience 
• Some experience (or at least high motivation!) with Solution Architecture principles including Domain Driven Design and techniques such as Event Storming
• Someone who would like to have a blend of hands-on development/integrations together with customer facing role
• Focus on Javascript/Typescript 
• Around three years working with React and Node in particular would be a great match for what we currently focus on.
• Experience with Auth0 and Okta implementations would be fantastic
• Experience with other Identity solutions such as Keycloak, Cognito, AzureB2C, OneLogin, Ping or Forgerock will also be very useful
• Existing experience with OIDC, SAML and Active Directory.
• Solid interest and/or experience with cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, Terraform, serverless architecture, IaC).
• Previous consultancy or digital agency experience would be very relevant
• Great ability to propose solution architecture & make technical decisions based on customer requirements as well as organising work with well defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent client communication skills, articulating and presenting ideas and technical solutions.  Did we say already that we love working with Miro? :)
